Sustainable Farming Certificate

The next SFC program will take place for the 2020 season.  Please contact the Farmer Training Coordinator to discuss your potential options for 2019 or to express interest for the 2020 program.  All of the information for the 2018 program is still posted below for your reference.

The Sustainable Farming Certificate (SFC) is an intensive, curriculum based program designed to help participants looking to acquire comprehensive food growing skills and explore the world of sustainable local farming.

SFC students live and learn at Everdale’s organic farm in Hillsburgh, Ontario.

For those students wishing to experience a full season on the farm, the program runs for a total of 32 weeks (early April to late November).  Shorter options are available to fit your schedule, please contact the Farmer Training Coordinator to discuss your options.  If interested, please read the ‘full details’ package in the link below before filling out the application form.
