Everdale has hosted more than 40,000 students since we opened our gates in 2000!

 

Currently, we are offering half-day (4 hour) field trips for Grades 5 to 12 and for post-secondary classes. We are unable to host Kindergarten to Grade 4 at this time.

Bring your class to Everdale for an inspiring farm-based experience!

 

Your students will:

​

• Learn about local food systems and help grow fresh food for community members in need (all the crops your students help to grow-harvest are donated to Everdale’s Good Food Project partners)

• Do light work in the vegetable fields alongside Everdale’s amazing team of farmers and program staff

• Strengthen communication between students fostering innovation and trust in your classroom 

• Increase their food literacy and their understanding of community food solutions 

• Experience an inspiring day at beautiful Everdale farm and contribute to a great cause at the same time 

• Have fun, relax, and enjoy our welcoming facilities

Price and field trip itinerary:

 

• $10/student (minimum $200 per booking) 

• 4-hours long; 10am-2pm; or choose a different start time

• Students bring their own own lunch and/or snacks and refreshments

• Introduction to Everdale's Good Food Project​ 

• Plant, weed, or harvest in the field alongside Everdale’s team of farmers
